The Brain Behind Beautyfluff

"Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower." – Steve Jobs
Before Beautyfluff had treatment rooms, heated beds, or a name anyone recognized, it needed structure. That has always been Eric’s domain.
Before founding Beautyfluff, Eric built a career at companies most people wouldn’t associate with a spa founder. From MTV, Bain & Company, Sony Music, Canon USA, Johnson & Johnson, and Paul Mitchell School, he learned how systems worked by building them himself. He didn’t set out to run a spa. But when he met Yennie and understood the kind of business she wanted to create, he saw an opportunity to bring his background and instincts into something he could help shape from the ground up.
From the start, Eric knew he didn’t want to create a typical spa. He envisioned a space that felt private, thoughtful, and intentional. Much of what clients now experience as seamless or effortless exists because Eric built it that way. From heated treatment beds to automated forms and screens in every room, the practical side of Beautyfluff bears his design. The most seamless, often overlooked parts of the Beautyfluff experience exist because Eric quietly put them there. If it runs, turns on, or functions behind the scenes, it probably has Eric’s fingerprints on it. Literally.
None of it is glamorous, and Eric’s the first to admit it. He often jokes that he’s “chronically tired” and “dead inside.” But beneath the sarcasm is someone who cares deeply because he believes in what he’s building and takes real pride in what he does. He doesn’t just keep the place running. He built the place to run.
Today, Eric still works behind the scenes—always rushing somewhere and rarely still. But make no mistake: without him, Beautyfluff wouldn’t be what it is. His vision for the company stays ahead of the curve, and his ability to do what needs to be done—often without recognition—is what keeps the company growing. He isn't interested in standing still, and he believes innovation, even when risky, is always worth it. Because at the end of the day, Beautyfluff isn’t just a business. It’s everything he’s built, everything he’s learned, and everything he believes can be better.
"You gotta do what you gotta do," he often says.
And Eric always does.
