The Heart Behind Beautyfluff

Yennie is “The Diva.”
It’s a popular inside joke within Beautyfluff, and openly acknowledged by Yennie. She often leans into it, purposefully acting a little more sassy or bossy to play it up, but everyone knows “The Diva” is only one small part of who she is, and that she’s so much more than that. The bigger truth is that she cares deeply and notices everything. Nothing unsettles her more than the idea of someone leaving her spa feeling anything less than fully cared for.
Yennie's “inner diva” shines through in her fierce dedication to the high standards she knows her clients deserve. She believes they deserve nothing less than the best: comfortable linens, ideal temperatures, perfectly chosen scents, and treatments tailored to every need. Her attention to detail borders on obsession in the best way, and she’ll stop at nothing to make sure Beautyfluff feels the way it’s supposed to feel.
That philosophy didn’t begin when Beautyfluff opened. In many ways, it existed long before the business had a name. When Yennie created facials, she never simply chose products and called it a day. She thought through every step. In the early years of Beautyfluff, she and Eric developed more than thirty treatments, each built from top-tier ingredients, custom tools, and techniques that would eventually attract other estheticians who wanted to learn her methods.
Her path into esthetics wasn’t a straight one. Yennie originally earned a degree in MIS and took a software consulting job in Silicon Valley because she wanted a career that would let her travel. But when the company went under, her path shifted. She stepped into a management role at a medspa, where her technical background quickly made her the go-to person for machine training, troubleshooting, and laser education. What began as a practical pivot slowly turned into something more genuine. Over time, she pursued more training, more certifications, and eventually became a licensed esthetician herself.
In hindsight, it almost feels like the field had been waiting for her all along. Esthetics runs through her family. Her mother, her aunt on her mother’s side, and another aunt on her father’s side were all estheticians. Her mother-in-law also worked as both an esthetician and an esthetics instructor. Yennie likes to joke that her mother once said that if she’d known Yennie would become an esthetician, she could’ve saved the money spent on college. Yennie’s usual answer was that college taught her to type faster, which made massage better. But beneath the joke is a real truth: every part of her background, from technical training to family influence, shaped the way she now approaches care.
When she and Eric opened Beautyfluff, they never wanted it to resemble a traditional neighborhood spa. They wanted something more thoughtful and more distinctive. They introduced features like the hydrobed and built facials more commonly associated with luxury hotels or resorts. Their goal was never just to offer a routine service. They wanted each treatment to feel transformative.
That standard shaped everything. Many of the tools used at Beautyfluff were passed down from Yennie’s mother and mother-in-law. Others were custom-made specifically for the spa, from extractors to magnifying goggles. Every choice reflected the same belief: that high standards aren’t optional, but part of what care actually looks like.
Yennie’s facial philosophy is built the same way she builds Beautyfluff itself, from the inside out. Each treatment begins not just with technique, but with intention. Breathing, grounding, energy cleansing, product layering, touch, and flow are all part of the experience. Nothing is random. Nothing is rushed. Every step is designed to elevate how the client feels, not just how their skin looks when they leave.
As Director of Esthetics and Co-Founder of Beautyfluff, she works every day to embody the same dream she’s carried for over a decade. Behind her cheerful smile is a woman who works tirelessly with a deep sense of purpose to make people feel beautiful, cared for, and truly seen.
Yennie leads with an attentive heart, and it shows in the little things. She remembers details that most people would forget, and there’s something deeply validating about being seen by someone who genuinely cares. Whether it’s remembering the name of a client’s spouse or knowing exactly what they need today because she remembered how their skin reacted weeks ago, Yennie has an extraordinary gift for details. Her clients don’t just feel pampered. They feel known.
That’s the magic touch she brings to Beautyfluff, and it’s one of the many reasons people come back again and again. Not just for great skin or beautiful treatments, but to be around Yennie’s one-of-a-kind energy.
Without her, Beautyfluff wouldn’t be the same.
