Reinventing the Brand
COVID may have forced Beautyfluff back to the beginning, but it also gave Yennie and Eric the rare chance to redefine what the brand truly stood for. What emerged was not just a refreshed business, but a sharper, more intentional Beautyfluff.

One Plus One Equals Three
Yennie and Eric Chou began building Beautyfluff around skincare, comfort, and care, but pregnancy and parenthood helped to further refine that vision. As their family grew, so did their understanding of what clients truly needed, leading Beautyfluff to become an even more thoughtful and nurturing space.

The Heart After Three
After becoming a mother, Yennie found herself overwhelmed by isolation, exhaustion, and the loss of her own identity. What began as a search for something she could build for herself and her family eventually became the beginning of Beautyfluff.

Home is Where You Make It
When Eric and Yennie returned to New York, they were not just relocating a business. They were building a life that could hold both family and ambition, and searching for a place where Beautyfluff could become the warm, personal home they had always imagined.

A Natural Evolution
Beautyfluff began as a boutique spa built on thoughtful, personalized care. Over time, that foundation evolved into Beautyfluff Medical & Wellness, where innovation, advanced treatments, and the same commitment to client experience continue to shape everything they do.

Building Momentum
By 2018, Beautyfluff had grown into a thriving business with a loyal client base, a strong team, and bookings filled weeks in advance. The opening of a second location in Flushing marked a major step forward, even as new challenges tested the calm, carefully protected environment that defined the brand.

The Pause
When COVID-19 forced Beautyfluff to close both locations in early 2020, Yennie and Eric faced one of the hardest chapters in the company’s history. From financial strain and the closure of their Flushing location to caring for their son during lockdown, they navigated uncertainty while continuing to support their staff, clients, and community.

The Rebuild
After years of disruption from a neighboring doggy daycare, Beautyfluff faced a choice during the pandemic: walk away or rebuild with greater control. In the middle of financial strain and uncertainty, Yennie and Eric made the bold decision to take over the adjacent space and protect the calm, intentional experience they had always envisioned.
